Small business grant support in the north east

There comes a time for every business where your current marketing strategy just isn’t doing it for you anymore.

Maybe you’ve been working mainly with word-of-mouth and referrals and they’ve dried up. Maybe your biggest contract is coming to an end and you’re struggling to find work to replace it. Whatever the reason, there’s a way out of it, and if you’re in the modern age, it’s digital.

For smaller businesses, the main barrier to this is cost, which is why we’re happy to work with grants. We believe everyone should have access to the quality of work they need, and shouldn’t have to settle for a cheap website or campaign.

We’re also happy to help with the grant application process, as we don’t want anyone to lose out for reasons out of their control.

What is a grant?

A grant is a fund which can be used under specific circumstances that doesn’t need to be paid back. If you’re eligible, there is no reason not to take it, it can benefit you in ways you may not even realise.

What grants are available?

The North of Tyne Business Support Fund provides grants towards bespoke business improvement projects – businesses in the North of Tyne Combined Authority Catchment (Northumberland, Newcastle, and North Tyneside) are able to access up to 50% funding towards projects costing between £3000 and £8000.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. For more information, click here.
